Kościoły Peru to arcydzieła kolonialnej sztuki sakralnej. W galerii znalazły się wnętrza i fasady świątyń z Limy, Cuzco i Arequipy – bogato zdobione ołtarze, złocone rzeźby, drewniane sklepienia i monumentalne kopuły wpisane w południowoamerykański krajobraz. Obok kościołów „kapiących od złota” znalazły się też skromne, wiejskie świątynie – równie autentyczne i poruszające.

This gallery features interiors and facades from Lima, Cusco, and Arequipa – richly decorated altars, gilded sculptures, wooden ceilings, and monumental domes embedded in the South American landscape.
